Slaton has been open about her hospitalisation and near-death experience, sharing her perspective with People magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 37-year-old said: \u201cI\u2019m feeling great! I\u2019m thankful to be alive, and it\u2019s fun to be progressing as much as I am.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the show\u2019s airing, things have improved for the star.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She\u2019s documenting her weight loss journey as she regains her health and her confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the latest season of 1000-Ib Sisters, Slaton shared her excitement, saying: \u201cWhen I got on the scale and I saw the scale was at 534.7, I kinda stopped breathing for a second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019m like 14lbs under my goal weight. From over 700, that\u2019s a huge drop. I\u2019m feeling thrilled, proud, excited\u2026 just all the emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI proved everybody wrong. Everybody that doubted me, I finally got mine! My told-you-so moment!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n And now, Slaton has opened up even more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She\u2019s come out to the public!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Slaton previously came out as pansexual back in 2021 while she was in a relationship with ex-boyfriend Jerry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During an episode of 1000-Ib Sisters at the time, the reality star opened up to her boyfriend about her sexuality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt means love is love,\u201d she told him. \u201cI would date anybody whether they\u2019re transgender, straight, gay.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n She went on to say: \u201cYeah. Or girl. It\u2019s about how they make me feel, not how they look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI always thought I was bisexual, and then I started talking to one of my friends and she told me she was pansexual, and I asked her kind of what it meant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt means you love everybody, not just the same s**. And I was like, \u2018Well, I guess I am too\u2019, because I wouldn\u2019t mind being with someone who\u2019s transgender, or whatever.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Although confused, Jerry took the news well, saying. \u201cI still love you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n He added: \u201cI\u2019m still trying to figure out what it means, but I\u2019m OK with it. I love Tammy the way she is.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Slaton concluded: \u201cI\u2019m happy because he took it pretty well. Acceptance of people\u2019s sexuality is important to me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n And since news of Slaton\u2019s husband passing was announced last year, she\u2019s opened up more about her preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She posted a video using emojis for the Pride flag and transgender flag in her caption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNo, I\u2019m not trans. I\u2019m just a supporter of everybody,\u201d Slaton explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI was saying I was pansexual but I kinda stopped messing with guys after my husband passed.
